How to: Print a document from the Windows 95 desktop.
Solution:
Click the 'Start' button, select 'Settings', and select 'Printers'. Right-click the appropriate icon and select 'Create Shortcut'. Click 'OK'. Drag-and-drop the document icon onto the printer icon.
1) If one does not exist, create a printer shortcut on the Windows 95 desktop:
a) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Settings' and select 'Printers'. (The 'Printers' window appears.)

c) Right-click the appropriate printer icon, and select 'Create Shortcut'. (The 'Shortcut' dialog box appears.).
d) Click 'Yes'. (The shortcut appears on the Windows 95 desktop.) NOTE: The following step assumes that a shortcut to the document exists on the Windows 95 desktop.
2) Drag-and-drag the desired document icon onto the printer icon. (The document is printed.)
